What do you do if you want to take one image and then produce a large, medium, small and thumbnail from that original image? A perfect example would be for an ecommerce website that has different image sizes for different pages. For people looking for the photoshop script here it is…Download file (remember to read disclaimer),
I was amazed that I couldn’t find the answer to this when I needed to do something similar. Oh, I forgot to mention I had around 80,000 images to process so wasn’t doing it the slow way.I know the Adobe Bridge has got some built in batch processing scripts but none of them seemed to do what I wanted. I did scour the internet for about a day but with no joy either.
I’m posting this in the event that someone comes across the same problem. This script is provided without instruction and without warranty. I don’t mind if someone posts a question in the comments butt there is no technical support for it. If there is any interest in it I might update the instructions. You can find out how to install scripts in to photoshop cs2 from the web and once it’s installed it really is plug and play. Obviously backup what you’re doing before running it for the first time.Hope it helps.
